The MAX100 Project was a collection of Air Max 1s envisioned in never-before-conceived concepts and ideas, so news of Nike Odyssey React 2 Blue Lagoon Blue Lagoon Black White in which ten designs would be produced was an absolute dream come true for all parties involved. Given the confines of Nike iD, the have ten designs came out pretty well, but some of the discrepancies between the original Matt Stevens design and the have shoe were painfully evident. The Air Jordan III-inspired design, for example, didn’t have elephant print, and some of the designs might’ve been too difficult to pull off on Nike iD. One sneakerhead who had been following the progress of the MAX100 x Social Status release took it upon himself to render some more accurate versions, going tit for tat with Matt Stevens’ amazing artwork. Upon seeing these, we can’t help but wish that Nike had gone the extra mile with this project to make these a little more true to their original concepts.
