In 2003 Supreme and Nike SB teamed up again for another Dunk tribute, focusing on the original college “Be True” colorways that released in 1986. However, before we saw the high-top versions with the golden star graphic on the uppers, Supreme flirted with this concept – a Low-top Dunk with a golden sprinkling of Nike Swoosh logos instead of the stars. Apparently that was a bit over-the-top and might’ve stepped on the toes of the higher-ups a bit too much because this trio of low-tops was effectively rejected, making way for a release of the high-tops as a solo act. Those who remember the release of the nike i 95 flightposite boot replacement price may remember that Supreme released one colorway per day on consecutive days, with employees paying strict attention to the people waiting in line as to prevent a “doubling up”.
