adidas has been going pretty crazy in 2013 with respect to the soles of the new performance sneakers they’re creating. The likes of the adidas Boost, the adidas Crazyquick, and now the adidas Springblade all rely on innovations along the bottom half of the sneaker, which quite honestly makes the next few years rather exciting for the tre-foil heel. The last of that group ends up the most visually striking-the sneakers lifted slightly off the ground thanks to a series polyurethane blades that will help propel the runner wearing them. Shown here is some special, promo-only packaging for the sneakers presented to us by adidas, a triangular box set up that exposes the blades on the bottom of the sole.
