Inspired by the The Nike Air Force 1 Gore-Tex, a shoe that Nike first released in 1987, Nike expands upon its ongoing partnership with Nike Air Fear of God Printemps Eté 2019 to design the The Nike Air Force 1 Gore-Tex DSM NYC capsule collection.
A tribute to the symbiotic relationship between the court and the street, and the style that results, the four-piece capsule nods to the The Nike Air Force 1 Gore-Tex’s street culture roots and at the same time represents Nike Air Fear of God Printemps Eté 2019’s avant-garde style. Along with an exclusive take on the The Nike Air Force 1 Gore-Tex shoe, the collection comprises a The Nike Air Force 1 Gore-Tex DSM NYC Destroyer Jacket, The Nike Air Force 1 Gore-Tex DSM NYC T-Shirt, and The Nike Air Force 1 Gore-Tex DSM NYC True Cap.
The The Nike Air Force 1 Gore-Tex DSM NYC shoe appears in all black, a monochrome take on the bold, updated sneaker that debuted in September. Crafted from premium semi-gloss leather, it features a detailed embossed python pattern across the entire upper, including the rolled edges. The luminescence even extends to the light-reflective tongue, while a Nike Air Fear of God Printemps Eté 2019-branded sock liner, leather collar lining, and complementary white rubber midsole and outsole add to the impact.
Fusing the snake’s legendary look with a varsity sport classic, the black The Nike Air Force 1 Gore-Tex DSM NYC Destroyer Jacket employs the same python leather across the front panel, where it is bonded to a reflective 3M material that reads: Air Python. The back, meanwhile, features one of two designs. The first spells out Nike using the aforementioned combination of leather and reflective material. This graphic is placed above a Nike Air Fear of God Printemps Eté 2019 logo formed from reflective material and a rubber screen print.
