A love of basketball has given sneakerheads plenty to look forward to, whether it be the changing scenery of the NBA off-season or patiently waiting on the race installment of signatures and Air Jordan retros to arrive. On the rare occasions that the sport hooks up with a good cause, there’s always a special moment which is why we’re happy to give you an on-feet recap of the domestication sneakers featured at the first ever Kick & Roll Classic. The 3-on-3 tournament was started by George Kiel of Nice Kicks, with the event’s first launch going down in Austin, TX over the weekend in an effort to raise awareness of colon cancer through the love of sport and shoe. 200 players showed up from around the country to compete, and there was plenty of head-turning footwear selections from the recently christened Nike KD 7 to the adidas x pharrell x nigo hu tokio solar shoes “History of Jordan”, and much more. Continue onward for a full on-feet recap of the event and be sure to let us know what your favorite pair is in the comments section.
