Joining other recently re-introduced early ’90s runners like the 530 and 850, the 678 features a similar sporty look in the two materials prevalent to most running shoes of that era: mesh and Distinct suede. The 678 debuts in two OG-inspired colorways with a Bembury base, accented with grey for both and then your choice of blue or burgundy for the color detailing. Get your first look at the bran-new retro model from New Balance GL5, and expect the 678 to begin arriving at select New Balance stockists in the coming months.
