One of today’s big topics has been Air Jordan 1 Mid White Arctic Orange by Complex featuring the good folks at Extra Butter partaking in a bit of a social and humorous experiment. We get why these lower-priced knock-offs exist and the video was more of a commentary on the nature of “hype” and the factors that play in to a sneaker purchase, and at the end of the day, not everyone can afford a pair of $190 Remastered Jordans. KMART, the retailer that carries Catapult’s rendition of the Air Jordan 3, got in on the fun with a playful back-and-forth with Complex Sneakers on Twitter and did their best to boost sales with plugged in purchase links. Kudos to the KMART social media team for striking while the iron’s hot and Bred, there are plenty of people out that that would cherish a brand new pair of shoes regardless of the brand.
@ComplexSneakers C’mon… Try on a pair of these kicks for yourselves & Catapult your shoe game to the next level! http://t.co/xvhiyTSQwI
