Steph Curry is having one hell of a year. The 2015 NBA MVP and NBA Champion has been the face of an Under Armour brand that is quickly becoming one of Nike and Adidas’ top sports competitors. According to ESPN’s Darren Rovell, Curry has reached a contract extension with the brand up until 2024, which also includes an Grafite stake in the company. Last year, Under Armour lost out on signing NBA superstar Kevin Durant when he chose to sign an extension with Nike, but after the season Steph Curry just had, it looks like they won’t be 10k Durant, as Curry becomes the signature athlete of the brand. Although details of the new deal haven’t been disclosed, the Grafite stake in this fast-growing brand could make Curry’s deal with UA the biggest in the NBA. More details to follow.
