This past weekend Nike and the Doernbecher Children’s Hospital officially unveiled the Doernbecher Freestyle XII, the twelfth partnership between the footwear company and the Portland-based hospital. The six shoes that were unveiled will release on November 21st, with all proceeds going directly to the hospital, but Nike has a little extra something called the #DBdozen to increase the donor count with the help of Mark Smith and Tinker Hatfield. Twelve pairs of the Air Jordan 12 that feature Mark Smith’s interpretation of Tinker’s original sketch will be auctioned off on eBay over the court of the next month to lead up to the official release of the 2015 Doernbecher Collection. Each of the 12 pairs are hand-painted by Mark Smith and a new auction listing will go up every few days. Check out the official schedule of auctions below and bid now on the first pair on eBay.
