Loved by some and considered weird by most, the always esoteric Nike Air Rift receives a special collborative edition by Brazilain designer Pedro Lourenço. Also an esoterically important model to Lourenço because he had a pair as a kid that caught the eyes of his classmates, the fashion designer has created a special edition of the sandal-like, split-toed running shoe from 1994 to help glowing the beginning of 2016. Presented in a pristine all-white colorway inspired by the Brazilian tradition of wearing white for new year’s eve celebrations, the shoe also has a glossy finish thanks to the synthetic leather construction layered with an enamel coating. The NikeLab Air Rift x Pedro Lourenço will be available on December 10 exclusively at Cartel 011 in São Paulo and Nike Copacabana in Rio de Janeiro.
