Pink Dolphin and Brooks get wavy—literally—for an upcoming collaboration on the Regent this winter. Keeping the tropical vibes alive this season, the Los Angeles-based streetwear brand and Brooks team up for the “Great Wave” Regent, featuring inspiration from the iconic artwork of Japanese artist Katsushika Hokusai who is most widely known for his piece The Great Wave of Kanagawa. The retro runner is constructed with this particular work of art in mind, featuring shades of tan nubuck, leather, and raw canvas panels across the upper with an aqua heel embroidered with a wave illustration. The collaborative sneaker is also accompanied by a matching anorak jacket, featuring a wave print on the inner lining.
The Pink Dolphin x Brooks Heritage “Great Wave” capsule will release on November 25th exclusively from Pink Dolphin (Regent – $140, Anorak – $60), followed by a worldwide drop at select Brooks retailers on December 3rd.
