Under Armour CEO Praises Donald Trump

Kevin Plank Donald Trump

While most major sneaker companies have publicly called out their moral opposition to Donald Trump and his controversy-laden early weeks of presidency, it appears one brand, in particular, is backing him. Under Armour CEO Kevin Plank was just quoted saying Trump is “A real asset for the country”, in an interview with CNBC’s Fast Money Halftime Report. Also recently meeting with the president with a council of business leaders to discuss current business issues, it looks like Kevin Plank and Under Armour are all in in their backing of Trump—including the plans to build a border wall between the USA and Mexico. Does this influence your future actions in buying Under Armour products? Are you anxious to hear Steph Curry’s opinions regarding the statement? Sound off in the comments below.
