Walter White of AMC’s Breaking Bad will go down as one of the most iconic lead characters in TV drama history. Bryan Cranston’s portrayal of the High School chemistry teacher turned accidental expert meth cook has received the highest of praise, and to this day his appearance, shoes mainly consists of a pork pie hat, a trimmed goatee, a tan jacket, and Clarks Wallabees, continues to be an icon of pop-culture.
BAIT, known to bring movies and TV shows to life through footwear, is paying Heisenberg his due by releasing two distinct colorways of the Clarks Wallabees, Walter’s shoe of choice for most of the series. The ice blue colorway is an obvious nod to his signature blue meth that he cooked in his various labs, while the deep red honors the final scene in the record-breaking series finale, where Mr. White succumbs to gunshot wounds after freeing the enslaved Jesse Pinkman.
BAIT will release both colorways on Thursday, March 23rd exclusively in their Melrose location, with an online release to follow on Saturday, March 25th. Both colorways are extremely limited (250 pairs of the red, 400 of the blue) and will retail for $180 per colorway.
