Nike Spent $15,000 To Make These Giant Shoes For A College Basketball Player

Michael Ojo Trainer 22 Nike Shoe

Imagine having feet so big that Nike had to build special equipment just to make shoes for you. That’s exactly the case for Michal Ojo of Florida State, who wears Trainer 22. Rivaling Shaq’s famously gigantic feet, the huge-footed 7’1″ big man couldn’t find any shoes that fit him, so Nike generously coughed up approximately $15,000 to build special equipment to make sure Ojo had shoes that fit him comfortably. Of course, 15 grand is pocket change to Nike, but it’s still nice to see that they value the players at their schools enough to make the extra effort for the starting center’s comfort.
