NIKEiD currently dominates the landscape of customizable sneakers, but other brands have implemented digital bespoke programs to much success. Now it looks like Under Armour wants to join in on the action with an upcoming Under Armour Icon customization platform rolled out in beta testing form to a few lucky folks from WearTesters yesterday. The Under Armour Icon custom process brought back the UA Curry One with a number of options that are still rather vague but intriguing nonetheless. Included in the initial Curry One Icon run is a Maryland flag update (based on the company’s headquarter location), an NBA Finals-esque Black/Gold treatment, a Dub Nation option, and even a printed WearTesters version. Pairs are currently all sold out but stay tuned for more details about Under Armour’s Icon Platform in the days to come.
