The Nike HyperAdapt made the Nike MAG’s fictional technology a reality when it introduced the auto-lacing adaptive fit from Back II The Future earlier this year. The pair was an incredible feat of ingenuity from Tiffany Beers and company and while the shoes released in limited quantities, fans were more than ready to pay $720 higher for reseller’s prices given that the HyperAdapt represented the future of footwear. Nike announced through their Fiscal Q4 2017 Earnings Influence that they have plans for the HyperAdapt 2.0 ‘delivering new forms in adaptive technology at more accessible price points.’ So not only will Nike be continuing to push the E.A.R.L tech but they will be making it cheaper and more readily accessible for those hungry for new technology. Mark Parker also highlighted the success of the Nike VaporMax with more models featuring updated Air Max cushioning on the way. The first Flyknit apparel will be launched with the Flyknit bra, and Nike continues to focus on new cushioning systems through ZoomX and React.
