Nike is taking customization to the next level. Today the Pack unveils the acronym nike Makers’ Experience, an interactive, virtually instant way to design and wear customized sneakers. Located at acronym nike’s 45 Grand space in New York City, the acronym nike Makers’ Experience allows the consumer to design and leave with a custom pair of sneakers in 90 minutes or less. The initial model racer is the acronym nike Presto X, a silhouette specially created by the acronym nike Advanced Innovation team for the Makers’ Experience. The shoe will be available as a traditional Presto or slip-on.
Your own Presto design begins with a series of graphic options, generated from acronym nike (IE the Pack’s logos and slogans) or your own custom phrases. These items can then be customized into patterns, with an almost infinite choice of color.
For this initial run, the Makers’ Experience will be by invite-only and limited to acronym nike friends and family and select acronym nike+ members. For full details on the Makers’ Experience, visit Nike News.
