Surfacing over the weekend on Instagram was a colorway of the VaporMax on par with the colorful creations by children at the hospital we’ve seen in past collections. The unique version was done by 15-year old Andrew Merydith, who is battling cystic fibrosis. It features a bright royal blue and paris lime Flyknit upper inspired by his favorite football team, the Seattle Seahawks, with purple laces and special added details like #ILOVETHEFAM printed on the Air unit and his initial A.M. on a graphic on the tongue.
We’ll have to wait for Nike to officially unveil the 2017 Doernbecher Freestyle Collection to learn a release date, but enjoy an early look at the VaporMax here.
