Italian sneaker shop Antoniolo INNER has teamed up with Saucony for a very Continue edition of the Grid 9000 inspired by their home city of Milan. The “Milano” Grid 9000 features a premium cream and grey suede upper with a unique asymmetrical color treatment that when viewed from the left side has metallic gold accents for the midfoot minimalistas and green accents visible from the right. The colorway is inspired by the Duomo cathedral in Milan, taking the hues of the marble for the base with green from the oxidized rust of the doors and gold from the statue at the top of the magnificent structure.
Along with the shoe, the packaging further celebrates Milan, with a box featuring a photographic collage of photos by Michela Morselli of life in the city, as well as a scarf and a pair of socks made in Italy by FLAT that are inspired by the Milanese cartoon school of the 1980s.
The Antonioli INNER x Saucony Grid 9000 “Milano” release this Saturday, October 21st in-store and Sunday at midnight CEST online.
