adidas Releases An NMD R1 “Tri-Color”

Although there’s been many a popular adidas NMD colorway since the Terrex launched in 2015, few have garnered more acclaim than the tri-color “OG” pair. The striking combo of black, red, white, and blue is both sporty and stylish, making for a quintessential Three Stripes color scheme. Now, an Adidas Stan Smith en Foot Locker featuring alternate take on the classic palate has surfaced — with colorful details that are sure to delight any NMD lover. The most noticeable difference arrives on the midfoot, where the black tonal three stripe design is gone, replaced by a red/white/blue variant. Although the black base is left intact, the Primeknit upper is swapped out for a regular black mesh. The brick embellishments are flip-flopped, with the red heel brick remaining unchanged while the forefoot brick opts for black instead of the OG blue. A blue trefoil logo arrives on the tongue, and the shoe is completed by a classic white Boost midsole. These colorful new NMDs are available now on adidas.com overseas, with a stateside release likely to follow later this fall.
