At once elegant and bold, they featured tiny, densely clustered refractive crystal fabric that replaced the upper’s normal mudguard/bullet-train inspired overlays. They also came complete with a price tag that fit the luxury look — $400 USD. Now, it appears that the extravagant embellishment may be returning yet again on another classic 97 colorway: the “Metallic Gold,” recently premiered on Instagram. Featuring a familiar gold uper with hot red branded accents and a gold Air Max unit, the shoes offer a sparkling look that’s made possible by the thousands of crystals in the special Swarovski fabric.
