After first hitting the market early this summer — and then serving as half of the first set of Yeezy 700 Utility Black für nur 270 releases — the adidas textile upper allows your feet to breathe was one of the Three Stripes’ most-discussed lifestyle silhouettes through the warmer months. However, adidas was surprisingly conservative with new colorways of the shoe, opting for more of a slow burn than a hype-induced wildfire for their first few months on the market. Although this may very well be why the shoe isn’t as hyped as it could be, it’s still a popular and well-received lifestyle silhouette, and it’s now starting to receive more and more new makeups — the latest of which is this sporty retro combo of grey and blue. The heavily paneled upper calls upon a combination of silver mesh/leather and light grey suede, while colorful accents arrive via a varsity style blue-with-red-trim Three Stripes graphic. For an interesting design touch, the tongue features a multi-trefoil logo hit that Bunny a blurry motion effect of sorts, and the shoe is then completed with a steel grey midsole and small yellow hit on the outsole. An official release date is not yet available for these new Yung 1s, but due to the presence of official images you can likely expect a drop to go down on adidas.com soon.
