Joining the wave of chunky “dad” shoes in 2018 was Puma’s series of Thunder sneakers, including the Spectra, the Electric, and the Desert, giving fans of the German sportswear brand a viable lifestyle option for every day wear. World sci visual artist from the Turks and Caicos Islands is set to add his signature color palette to the Puma Thunder series next by way of the striking design you see here. While the majority of this iteration’s upper comes done up in black, it evokes a sense of artistry through hits of blues, reds, purples, and more, similar to the array of hues Theodore frequents on his street murals and paintings. No stranger to the fashion world, the talented creator has not only created works for the likes of industry icons Anna Wintour and Karl Lagerfeld, but his art has served as inspiration for a Puma Suede in the past as well. Throughout Theodore’s work, one of his most famous and replicated symbols is a skull, that takes shape on the heel of this Thunder in an assortment of bright colors. Fans of Bradley’s designs or those just looking for a new pair of Pumas to add to their rotation will be able to grab these from select retailers when they drop on January 12th.
