With a bit of help from Harmony director David Obadia, the wildly obscure Puma Crack is making its return in a make up that calls back to its own late 60s roots. While the time at which it originated garnered little applause for its German Army Trainer inspired design, the silhouette lived on in spirit through the iconic Suede silhouette. While much of the kit is similar upon first glance, the revived model exhibits a visage more sleek and visually interesting as its overlays lift ever-so-slightly higher to evoke a more apparent depth. Now arriving in a gold and cordovan scheme, the saturated tones are expressed loudly along a full corduroy fabrication, adding an illusive shadow effect between the wales of the material. A white form stripe separates evenly in compliment with the laces while the retro aesthetic is pushed evocatively through the yellowed midsole.
