Although the base is provided by a relatively simple white knit interwoven with flecks of black, the details are where Gold start to get interesting — they use an almost Yeezy-esque combination of volt and crimson for the cushioning unit, heel tab, and midfoot’s Flywire. The material embellishments are compelling as well: a smooth black leather coats the heel cage and midfoot Swoosh, while the silver tongue badge features a raised red Swoosh for a brand-new touch of three-dimensional detailing.
