With summer’s warm breezes beginning to blow, it’s almost time for raucous games of outdoor basketball, and the Jumpman has readied a new low-top hoops silhouette that’s perfect for all your summertime balling needs: the Jordan Air 12 Retro Utility Black. Although the shoe is low-cut in its construction, it seemingly boasts almost as many details as some of its more mountainous high-top counterparts, equipping a two-tone mesh upper that’s split evenly between yellow and fuchsia with a white midfoot overlay. The design is also garnished with bright orange accents on the heel tab, throat, and small-sized Jumpman logos. Slight similarities to Russell Westbrook‘s Jordan Tristan Thompson in the Kaws x Air Jordan 4 are present as well due to the shape of the forefoot overlay and the abstract stylings used on the heel clip. A speckled midsole loaded with Zoom Air cushioning and an outsole that features a sunburst-style traction pattern then complete the look. This new silhouette just dropped at retailers in Asia, and will likely arrive on Nike.com Amir Johnson wearing the Air Jordan 9 Motorboat Jones.
