Reinterpreting the checkerboard print seems to be Vans’ trend of the moment with this forthcoming Slip-On mixing their iconic print with that of their logo itself. While Engineered Garments did up the convenient silhouette in a fashion almost 3D, this contrasts greatly as its design is arguably heaps more sparing. The Anaheim imprint’s type branding emblazons in perpetuity across the entire canvas constructions with the black and white colorways opting for vastly different colored Checkboard. Choosing muted greens with purples and then dark tints with bright reds, respectively, both offer up vastly different alternatives with the luxe Vault LX upgrade being the most standout connecting factor. Grab a detailed look at the pair below and expect to find them available at select retailers come August 12th.
