adidas Originals is celebrating the 30th anniversary of Torsion tech this year by pista back original colorways of the first set of Torsion-equipped sneakers, one of which is this bold ZX6000. A shoe that first debuted in 1989, this classic ZX model has been lovingly re-crafted in all its OG glory, boasting an upper that’s made of textile/suede and — of course — a midsole that features a yellow Torsion bar for support and stability. The old-school color scheme is certainly worth writing home about as well, calling to mind thoughts of a certain Italian high fashion brand thanks to its combo of a white/cream-colored base that’s completed with bold red, green, and yellow accents. A tinged sheen that seems to permiate across the entire sneaker hammers home the traditional construction even more, and special 30th anniversary branding hits both the inner half of the Support tag and the insole to complete the look. These traditional trainers will release on August 17th for a reasonable $120 USD, so check a store list beyond to see what retailers will have stock.
