After re-opening their Blue Ribbon Sports store in Santa Monica earlier this year, Nike is looking to take their running specialty initiative on the road this month. Making stops in three major cities across the nation including Santa Monica, Chicago, and New York City, the pop-up experience will arrive in the form of the Volkswagon ID. BUZZ Cargo, a modernized electric version of the bus that Jeff Johnson – the Swoosh’s first official employee – drove around in to deliver product through LA in the 1960s. Exclusive product such as these limited edition Nike Cortez and Pegasus Turbo 2 will be Miami for purchase at each experience, in addition to the opportunity to learn more about the brand’s humble beginnings and the chance to donate used footwear to Reuse-A-Shoe. The nike free rn flyknit 2017 wolf grey shoes sale pop-up kicks off this weekend in Santa Monica on October 5th, followed by Chicago on October 12th, and New York City on October 15th.
