Paying homage to one of the biggest proponents of sneaker culture in the world, Nike and its overseas outpost are providing a two-part japan of Air Force 1s with Shibuya as the core inspiration. Much like the bustling city’s Halloween take, the duo is vibrant in all facets, though, instead of the spooks and ghouls at the helm, the design is driven by their organized public transport system. Black and white bases allow for many a vibrant tone to be laid atop, with each of the total eight corresponding to one such route on the web of subways and trains. The darker alternative, with accents equally dialed back in relative terms, dons sultry purple swooshes with heel and tongue tabs of cali red; embroidery as well as lettering stitched along are vibrant in their ocean blue hues one that compliments well with its darkened gum bottom. Alternatively, the white colorway detours towards much calier pigments with green, orange, and aquas swapping out with the aforementioned arrangement. Elsewhere, heels are stamped by the connecting “SBY” patch in similarly festive fashion as the insoles whose print depicts the map through Shibuya Station. Grab a detailed look at the pair right here and find it release likely as a Japan exclusive on November 2nd.
