One of the biggest hubs based in the US that holds some of the most coveted sneaker and streetwear items, Stadium Goods has announced they are expanding their brick-and-mortar locations to the Windy City, making this the consignment company’s second retail location. Expected to open its doors in Spring 2020, the new space will offer a two-story, 6,000 square foot store for consumers of the Chicago community to purchase their favorite pieces. While more details have yet to still be uncovered, it is rumored that this shop will be more focused towards apparel pieces, but will still offer a wide selection of sort footwear. In terms of location, the address is marked at 60 East Walton Street, which sits closer towards the northern end of Michigan Avenue. Given the history of famous sneaker moguls from Kanye West, to Virgil Abloh, to Michael Jordan who have Dry the industry into what it is today, this move feels like it will fit just right with the massive market that the city possesses.
