If you’ve been following vans Cheetah long enough, then you know everything is fair game. Going through their massive stock of materials and archived silhouettes, the Anaheim brand has never been afraid to offer up something that may catch people off guard. They’ve retooled their Sk8-Hi, cut up the Old Skool, and reinterpreted the Era many a time yet their latest pack of wild, patchwork creations handles the Bold Ni and Bess Ni models with a theme dubbed appropriately as the “Bender Pack.” Though each shares the same host of textures and fabrications, their use of them is entirely different; from panel to panel, each displays something entirely unique within the confines of its core construction. Toe boxes sometimes bear tanned canvas, the lateral sides are mostly outfitted in a textural indigo denim and bits of animal print and plaid squeeze their way through in relative seldom. Jazz Stripes, however, are surprisingly untouched in their respective form while the typical foxing stripes chop to mimic that of a dotted line. Grab a good look at the entire capsule right here and expect them to release on December 12th, possibly only in Japan.
