Given the high levels of secrecy within the Beaverton walls, we may never grasp the full breadth of wackiness at the famed Innovation Kitchen. An ex-Nike employee who worked in that experimental division for over thirty years is giving us a small peek at the internal concotions as he’s teamed up with notable eBay seller and Swoosh historian Shoezeum to reveal some unreleased look-see/wear-test samples that never made it to production. Some of the jaw-droppers include an Air Force 1 slide, an Air Force 1 Shox (with the notorious cushion pillars seen through the sole), a Fuseposite sample from the peak of Alpha Project’s basketball creations, a Foamposite snowboard boot, and an Air Max 1 with an inner sock. Alongside these rare one-offs are a bunch of other random knick-knacks (like a Flywire wallet) that any Nike fanatic should definitely take a gander at, so check out some of our standouts below and see the full assortment of eBay listings here.
