Of four Celebrates color options — grey, a triple black as expected, a bright, tonal red, and a similarly colored blue — the model shines with complement to the draped trousers, applying a sock-like construction that’s ostensibly far removed from inline classics. This knit weave marbles with different shades in a distinct backdrop to the overlays whose finishes bear a slight gloss with lighter shades here. Subtle striping within the strike logo lead the eye to the toe box, a sturdy piece with perforations along the side and an accentuated cap that is actually an extension of the tread. GEL cushioning exposes all across the midsole, taping adds further structure to the side profile, and heel supports add hardshell armor to what is otherwise a flexible kit.
