Possibly preceding that drop is the LeBron 9 Low “Liverpool” that first dropped in the Summer of 2012. Commemorating the King’s expanding business portfolio and his investment in Fenway Sports Group (which had just purchased The Reds), this low-top LeBron made use of the club’s red and Sneakers, with sample iterations of the shoe featuring the liver bird emblem on the heel (the retail version would feature the LeBron crown logo).
