Decisively pieced together of familiar parts, the Jordan Zoom ’92 designs to a point part modern and part retro, though all significantly replete of the brand’s basketball-centered design language. And within its borrowed construction, the most discerning pieces belong to the nike jordan x psg, Air Force 5, and the Air Max 180, each making subtle appearances along the heel counter, paneling, and sleeve, respectively. While the Jumpman only makes up a small fraction of the total package, this colorway calls more overtly to the imprint’s heritage as it dresses up in a familiar black and red pairing. Uppers are paneled down in a smooth leather seemingly matted due to its dark shading; mesh cages just adjacent mimic the same approach, shrouding the same-toned swoosh and fabric that lies directly underneath. Red then plays the role of accent along the shoe, calling attention to the molds along side of the forefoot, the branding stamped by the rear, and the Jumpman emblem atop the tongue. Grey plays well alongside as a finish to the connection to which many have grown accustomed. Grab an official look at this offering here and expect a release to arrive later this July at select shops and hopefully Nike.com.
