With Fall time quickly approaching, the folks over in Beaverton have been hard at work in preparing new footwear styles for their hungry sneaker fans, more particularly their women’s demographic as reflected by their latest-unveiled Sportswear collection. Revealed in full today, the new Air Max assortment is a six-part story, two of which include the ever-classic jumpman on retro 11 bred.
Continuing its celebratory run of anniversary makeups, the Tinker-designed silhouette is being highlighted first through a reissue of its “Laser Blue” time. The last time this time showed out, it was modernized to fit the Ultra Essential model by being refitted with breathable mesh uppers more fit for the hot Summer weather, but this forthcoming rendition is a nod to the classic leather/synthetic constructions to keep as close to the OG as possible. Releasing alongside this pair comes a new makeover, one that almost channels a “Plum” inspired look due to the nature of its accents. Mudguards, ankle molds, and heel counters are all swathed with a dark purple hue, and complemented by way of watermelon pinks sprinkled through the Swooshes, Nike Air rear branding, and toe treads, all of which fall against classic backdrops of neutral white backdrops. Peep a first look at each pair here, and expect them to arrive in the coming months on Nike.com.
