When scoping out the market of running shoes today, it would be extremely hard to ignore Nike’s growing line of NEXT% sneakers. Of course, the outstanding sub 2-hour run by Eliud Kipchoge while rocking the AlphaFly NEXT% certainly brewed up some controversy and the overall question of “Will these shoes actually make me run faster?”, but that garnered attention has only worked in favor for the Swoosh up until this point. Besides, with no marathons looking to be held within the foreseeable future, the hell with the “rules” anyway right?
Anyways, the Beaverton-based brand has expanded upon their performance family in recent memory, most noticeably with the Air Zoom Tempo NEXT%. Having yet to officially debut here in the states, the silhouette has already revealed a handful of colorways in its arsenal. After seeing through to the “Triple White” theme, the pavement-ready model is now being reworked into a new makeover. Neutral tones dominate its look as the uppers gradient sequins white to light grey, while accents are placed inside the visible forefoot pods, as well as the heel tabs. Royal blues decorate the heel tabs and lateral Zoom units, while bright oranges make their way onto the medial side and insole Swooshes.
