Jovani Hernandez From performing for a couple dozen people in 2013 to a recent nationwide collaboration with McDonald’s, Travis Scott has accumulated a laundry list of impressive accolades in only 28 years. While putting on for the city of Houston may be at the top of his personal proudest moments, partnerships with NIKE, Inc. may be a close second.
What began in 2017 with a Friends & Family Jordan Trunner LX currently stands as one of the most coveted 14-sneaker lineups of all time. Sure, not every pair has been made available to the public (we’re looking at you, purple suede our recent Black Carmine Jordan 6 Concept), but those that have been have cemented Scott as the person of this generation. Both of his Jordan 1 collaborations quickly garnered grail-status within many enthusiasts’ collections, and have effectively cast shadows on any subsequent High or Low that utilizes a “Dark Mocha” variant.
Recently, La Flame has taken a break from swaying the SB Dunk after-market by unveiling an alternative arrangement of his collaborative look at 12 air jordan xx9 russell westbrook pes. While the first-look obtained through social media isn’t of high quality, it reveals a general idea of Scott’s potential next release: white takes over much of the upper (which may be leather this time around), while the aforementioned brown is isolated onto the toe box and rear. Lateral swooshes maintain their backward orientation, but indulge in a black palette. Branding on the tongue and ankle flaps may boast a scarlet scheme, and are likely to keep their 1985-like design.
