While overshadowed by its taller counterpart, the Nike This weekend s Air Jordan retro of choice is the GS Shadow Red EU38 US5.5Y Neu 554725 096 Mid has garnered a lot of attention throughout 2020 due to its impressive range. From the eye-catching to the subtle, the silhouette has historically been more accessible and versatile than its inaugural trim. And that isn’t changing anytime soon as the model has recently emerged in with patent leather uppers clad in a “Signal Blue” tone.
Akin to a “Turf Orange” proposition seen earlier in the season, the mid-top Jordan 1 features contrasting panels underneath the rich blue overlays. Leather at the toe box, midfoot and ankle forgo any glossy finish in favor of a smooth “White” composition, which allows the retro’s titular color to revel in the spotlight that much more. “Black” takes over the profile swooshes and branding throughout the upper, before heading down to the outsole. As on some of the most beloved Jordan 1s, a colorless midsole completes the arrangement.
