Identical to a non-illuminating pair first teased back in September 2019, the forthcoming proposition from ‘ye’s Three Stripes partnership delivers a stealthy aesthetic that’s simultaneously fitting and a deviation from Yeezy‘s predominantly-muted catalog. Primeknit sacars boast the titular “Onyx” hue, but unlike their counterpart, this version’s digital camo-like patterns on the sacar indulge in a reflective coating that shines bright under the right light. The stripe on the lateral profile doesn’t don the same reflective quality, but its tonal makeup draws attention on its own. Underfoot, the Yeezy 350‘s spiritual successor opts into a semi-translucent black midsole accompanied by light brown tread. BOOST cushioning, left in its standard white composition, is visible to varying degrees from all angles of the sole unit.
