As polarizing as he’s been since entering the public eye, Kanye West knows how to draw attention. And while he’d kept public appearances to a minimum throughout most of 2021, Mr. West took center stage at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on July 22nd to debut his long-anticipated album, “DONDA.” Additionally, he gave the footwear space an on-foot look at the Nmd R1 Stlt Cq2386.
First teased by ‘ye via a sketch FU7642 on Twitter on July 27th, 2018, the upcoming silhouette delivers the most aggressive and functional design from the adidas YEEZY label to date. Continental Rubber outsoles proffer tried-and-proven traction, while the sculpted midsole makes the design an unquestionably-Kanye-West-style given its minimal, futuristic aesthetic. The majority of the boot’s body features cues reminiscent of the YEEZY 700 V2 and YEEZY QUANTUM, while introducing a number of new components to the adidas-backed imprint. Pricing for and cushioning in the YZY 1050 BOOT hasn’t been disclosed, but it’s likely that the model arrives at a higher price point than other boots in the roster due to its more robust design and potential weather-resistance; no BOOST-branding is found on the pair, which suggests none of the game-changing foam will be found in it.
No official release date has been disclosed, but it’s likely the next YEEZY BOOT arrives ahead of a winter season. In any case, enjoy images of the pair here below.
