BAIT, Capcom’s Street Fighter II franchise, and adidas come together for a capsule that can be described in one word: PERFECT. In honor of the legendary fighting game, for which 80s and 90s kids spent hours (and many quarters) duking it out at the arcades, BAIT presents the Ozweego and LXCON silhouettes inspired by four of the key warriors of the game – Ryu, Chun Li, E. Honda, and Dhalsim. All four are decorated after each fighter’s distinct garb (notice Dhalsim’s skull charms and the sumo wrestler’s signature face pint), while the custom insoles feature the 16-bit combatants performing their signature moves.
BAIT and Street Fighter II co-branding are also featured through the four footwear options, while matching long and short-sleeved t-shirts feature each of the character bios in its original Japanese FTWR. Whether you played the OG Street Fighter II, or preferred the expanded Super Street Fighter II Turbo, there’s no denying the game’s place in gaming and 90s history.
The entire collection is available now directly from BAIT while supplies last; each of the shoes are available for $140, while the rest of the collection (apparel and toys) range from $30 to $75.
