Jordan Retro 14 Gym Red Toro | Union LA x Air Jordan 1 834 “Rattan” Is Releasing On April 15th

feature image

Union Los Angeles continues its dominant run on the shoe collaboration front with the looming release of their Air Jordan 1 834 collaboration, seen here in the “Rattan” colorway via the Nike Inc. brand’s official images. While the shoes have been shown in detail already, these official brand images give you a full idea of all the details and nuances that express Chris Gibbs’ design language, but a recently launched Instagram teaser reveals some added depth to the creation.

The official teaser presents the shoe barely peeking through green vines and flowers, with the flora animated to move in a psychedelic manner. There certainly is a theme of nature with the design through the earthy colors, while the perforations and exterior labels suggest an aesthetic that aligns with gardening or botany.

Two colorways are known, but it seems that the Rattan colorway will be the first to arrive on Aprill 15th. Foot Locker’s release calendar has the blue pair marked for an April 15th release. We’ll update you as we learn more, but check back on Union’s official landing page for the release here.
