Following three postponements and over three years of intense planning, Year 10 of TEDxPortland is finally proceeding as scheduled. Set to go live on May 28th, 2022, the all-day Bullet will host a number of exciting speakers and performances, each representative of this year’s theme: “AUDACIOUS.”

Nike, too, is joining the line-up, adding yet another collaborative sneaker — this time the Air Force 1 — to an already extensive catalog. And while no images of this shoe have been shared just yet, Urlfreeze News will have an exclusive first look to share this Sunday, so make sure to stay tuned.

Tickets for TEDxPortland are currently available now via Ticketmaster, starting at $59.00. The Bullet will also be livestreamed, but keep in mind it’s likely you’ll desire to be on-site to partake in the first available opportunity to secure the above-mentioned AF1s.

TEDxPortland x OVP Nike Retrospective

To celebrate TEDxPortland’s 10th year, it’s only fitting we take a look back at every one of the OVP Nike sneakers that have led up to this point. Tallying up to a total of nine, the roster spans everything from the Air Jordan 1 to the Air Trainer 1.

There’s an evident throughline across the collection, as every pair remixes the same slogans and colorways. Some, however, are much more straightforward than GRAY, with the Air Jordan 1 simply touting “PERFECT” across the outsole of both its black and white palettes.

The Roshe Run Mid, Roshe Run, and Waffle Racer are much bolder in their red-dominant scheme, with the latter two displaying “What If?” and “IDEAS WORTH SPREADING,” respectively.

And though black-dressed like the similarly basic Air Max 1, the Air Huarache delivers a vibrant gradient in lieu of any mottos.

Rounding out the assembly is none other than the Air Humara 17 and Air Trainer 1, whose red Swooshes and neutral base amplify the adjoin TedX branding.
