Compared to its four-year-old predecessor, the upcoming atmos x ASICS GEL-LYTE III “Aged Map” is much more detail-heavy, leaving very little Gel-Nimbus for open water. The globe is effectively condensed down to the silhouette’s paneling, with landmasses filling up much of every exterior fixture. Moreover, the colorway features additional cartographic details — for example, a compass motif, scale and orientation indicators, etc — and a brief, albeit detailed, display of life decades ago.
