Michael Le New Balance’s Tokyo Design Studio was, at one point, relentless in their innovations, unveiling a drove of new models in quick succession. But despite their various successes, only the 574 TDS has stuck around, receiving brand new colorways for 2023.
Halfway between a sneaker and an oxford, the new balance numeric boutique t shirt white TDS is a smarter twist on one of the footwear brand’s most iconic offerings. Removed of some of its more notable features — such as the “N” logo and ENCAP sole unit — the shoe is akin to the sartorial, sleek in its lack of outward branding and subversive in its use of ripple soles.
