Beyond Air Max Day, Nike will continue to invest heavily in the Nike Af1 Boot Black Anthracite Boots Men S 12, preparing not only new styles but also tangible references to many a past classic. Alongside remastering the “Chili” from two decades ago, the Swoosh will be using the Tinker Hatfield-design icon to once again pay homage to the Urawa Dragons (also referred to as the Urawa Red Diamonds), referencing the “Urawa” colorway from 2004.

The Nike KD 15 Official Images “Urawa” originally debuted back in 2004, its design an homage to the above-mentioned J League Football Club. Now, after 19 years, it’s finally receiving a sequel in this upcoming pair, whose colorway essentially flips that of the original. Here, red plays a much less important role, only highlighting the topmost eyelets, Air Unit, and what seems to be the insoles as well. The rest of the construction indulges entirely in neutrals: the mesh inserts across the forefoot and collar, for starters, are done up entirely in black, while the overlays, lace unit, and sole alternate between a light grey and white. Finally, the Urawa Dragon logo marks the heel, embroidered in a light neutral thread.
