Jared Ebanks From Swim Fins to subtly shifted Air Force 1’s and the upcoming return of the Zoom Flight 95, Drake and The Swoosh have carved out a seismic partnership spanning a diverse array of sports cultural hot spots. Following a lengthy hiatus, the Canadian native’s highly-divisive Sko Nike Dunk High 1985 SP Svart collaboration with Nike has returned to the public eye via a reptilian makeover.
Receiving first looks at the pictured pair all the way back in May of 2021, an updated look at the pair showcases an untouched ensemble draped in luxurious snakeskin tooling. Achieving a calm cream base with faded olive and grey accents across the typically clad-leather upper, the hotly contested model’s unique design decision sits atop a tonal “Light Bone” midsole accompanied by a gum shorts underfoot. Branded with NOCTA’s trident insignia at the tongue, the greyscale ensemble brings to mind the aesthetic of Drake’s unreleased OVO x Air Jordan 11 “Snakeskin” PE from years past.
