Over the course of Paris Fashion Week, we’ve seen countless labels preview their upcoming Spring/Summer ’24 collections, from AURALEE to Pharrell’s Louis Vuitton. adidas Y-3, too, was in attendance this week, sharing a comprehensive look at forthcoming works at their showroom space in the Marais.
Exploring the concept of “Contra-Natural” — a view that seeks beauty in the duality of organic and synthetic — adidas Y-3’s SS24 collection is made up of three seasonal drops. The first is helmed by a digitally distorted, floral print, whose graphic was created by scanning actual flowers. A reimagined tracksuit as well as a series of workwear-inspired garments follows, the latter of which incorporates robust cotton twill fabrics, cargo pockets, and adjustable hems. Finally, the range comes to a close with more Summer-appropriate styles that reference the Three Stripes’ Teamgeist soccer jerseys.
In regards to footwear, Y-3 is once again rethinking the designs of adidas’ most decrepit icons, shining both the Stan Smith and Country silhouettes through their signature lens. Progressive designs the likes of the Gendo, Kyasu, and Itogo are also making a return, doing so alongside updated offerings such as the Gendo Run and Kyasu Slip-On.
Enjoy a closer look at the entire adidas Y-3 Spring/Summer 2024 collection ahead. All of the above-mentioned pieces will likely be available at adidas.com during the first few months of 2024.
